The breakfast was amazing 👏 Lovely fresh food, cooked to perfection and brought to our table. We were made to feel very welcome and local, regular customers chatting with us as well. Our room was very comfortable, clean, tea & coffee making facilities. A very pleasant stay, lots of variety on the restaurant menu. Would recommend for a relaxing weekend away. We had travelled to attend a 60th party in the next village. Ness & Paul run a superb pub/inn with a great team.

Family run, very friendly staff, used by local people, with lots of history attached to the building and surrounding area. The owners are very knowledgeable of the history of the pub too Great beer! The Otter Black was exceptional Very quiet and relaxing location, and close to the moor, Exeter, and the coast. Be prepared for single track lanes leading to the village, but its all part of the real countryside 'Devon' experience
