Everything as described- our journey got longer and longer so we arrived very late but it was no problem.

We chose the Brit for its central location and private parking. We were on a tight schedule and wanted to visit the wonderful Maison des Outil which was just around the corner and meant we could fit in a visit and leave on time.

This was a wonderful quirky old hotel in the very centre of Troyes. The staff helped us find a magnificent restaurant that served excellent, locally sourced food. We were in a great spot to enjoy the colourful Christmas festivities in the evening. Excellent breakfast. The chef provided me with some oeufs poché even though they were not usually provided. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful both in the afternoon when we arrived and the following morning when we were leaving.

The location was excellent. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The parking was an added bonus, but best to ensure they have space if it’s a necessity.
