Host messaged on the day with key code. Plenty of plates, glasses, cutlery for the number of guests - utensils were plentiful. Lots of oven space. Lovely welcome fruit welcome basket and lots of coffee, tea, dishwasher tablets etc. A few coat hooks would have been really helpful but hall/staircase was ok.

The host was very kind and kept in touch throughout our stay, which made everything feel easy and well organised. We also really appreciated the thoughtful touches, especially the lovely fruit basket waiting for us on arrival. It made us feel very welcome.

We loved everything about Longfield house. We are 4, hard working nurses, in need of a relaxing weekend away to unwind and this spot fitted the bill entirely! The house, a period property, has been sympathetically decorated to a high modern standard with many considered touches throughout. Every room is welcoming and comfortable. It feels like you’re staying somewhere really special. The bedrooms are cozy with comfortable beds. We all had an excellent night sleep! The added extra of the “spa room” with the hot tub gave us a wonderful spot to spend the afternoon catching up instead of trekking into a crowded Bath in the rain. Tina communicates quickly and is the perfect host. We are already planning our return!!

The hot tub was fabulous!! Could have done with a dedicated mop/bucket/squeedgy to allow us to clean up any spilled water better in the hot tub area. We tried our best. Possibly needs a quick freshen up on some painting and in the ensuite but that is what you get with older properties. Couldn’t work out how to get the heating quite right but we had blankets to sit around and relax with in the lounge. It was lovey and hopefully we can return once all our diaries align again.
