First of all, the owners are very welcome and helpful, speaking english. Lady does almost everything to solve any problems and make your stay comfortable, also eager to give some hints on travelling round the island, shopping, etc. We were impressed by spacy rooms, big balcony(excellent for breakfast outside) and very well equipped kitchen. Impala is located in quiet surroundings, 5-10 min. walk from the beach, depending on which one you choose. Small grocery is near. Breakfast is simple, very limited menu, but fresh and delicious, sometimes with extra surprise;) Bus stop is 3-5 min from here. Note that airconditioning is extra paid (booking service doesn't show it clearly for customer), but ceiling fans were more than enough during our stay. Guesthouse is kept clean and tidy. We enjoyed our stay very much, so I can frankly recommend Impala, if you don't want to pay hefty rates for a regular hotel by the beach.

Our Hostess was wonderful. Being served Breakfast every morning, was a real Treat. There simply wasn't a request that we received a No too. It was literally a home away from home. The Apartments are spacious, and have all you require. It's not on the beaten track, so very quiet, with almost no Traffic. We felt very, very safe.

This is the best self catering apartment we have ever stayed at. Immaculately clean, a really comfy bed, a full kitchen with complete cooker/oven + microwave, pots and pans etc. A fridge/freezer. Brilliant kitchen! The bedroom with a double bed was a good size and the bed was really comfy. The second bedroom with twin beds was also a good size, with big double wardrobe including a safe. The living room/diner was large with a sofa and 3 armchairs, a large coffee table, a TV, and a large dining table and chairs. The bathroom was sizeable with a huge shower and lots of hot water (if you're brave enough to have a hot shower in such hot weather). There was a balcony that overlooked the garden and had a table and chairs on it. It was wonderful to sit and have breakfast, watching the birds and butterflies in the orange trees. Our hosts were so kind. The weather was incredibly hot and they had kindly moved us to this apartment as it is a cooler one. Each room has a ceiling fan but if we go again I will pay the supplement for the air con. Each day we had omelette and toast with coffee for breakfast which saw us through to tea time. They were such lovely, unobtrusive hosts. Location was great for us. This is in Mon Choisy and is just off the main road but it is the end of the cul-de-sac so it was quiet with no through traffic. We were only a 5 mins stroll from Mon Choisy beach which, in my opinion, is the best beach on the island. There was a small supermarket at the end of the road which had poor choices and was expensive: on our hosts recommendation we went 1.5km along the road to the big supermarket. There were some smashing restaurants around if you don't fancy cooking (Le Mediterranee and Stephanie Snack are excellent) and all within a 3 min stroll. I absolutely couldn't fault this place.
