Kalo in greek means good. But the room was not good... It was very good. Very clean, very spacious, very good location!!! The family who runs the Kalò rooms is wonderful. Very helpful people. Very caring and always ready to help at any time. We really felt looked after and cared. Up to now the best hosts we have ever had. Thank you Bordino family , you really made the difference. E&A

The room was incredibly spacious and contained everything you could need. The staff as well as the owner were very attentive, despite in some cases only speaking Italian, but with the help of a translator and some broken Italian in these cases, it was no problem. Despite this they were incredibly helpful and happy to take care of whatever. I also have to mention that the host was wonderfully considerate when I mentioned I was travelling for my birthday, I found an incredibly surprise in my room to help me celebrate (balloons, pastries etc.) The breakfast was also so varies and overall I could not have asked for a better experience. My only regret is that I didn't get to stay longer. Thanks very much!

We had excellent stay in Tropea, thanks to hospitality of the Kalo Rooms. Great big breakfast every morning, very clean and modern room, and smooth communication. We were getting around with a train, so the proximity to the station as well as to the city centre was great. Highly recommend!
