We had excellent stay in Tropea, thanks to hospitality of the Kalo Rooms. Great big breakfast every morning, very clean and modern room, and smooth communication. We were getting around with a train, so the proximity to the station as well as to the city centre was great. Highly recommend!

Me and my family loved our weeks stay at KALÓ Rooms. It is a family run business and you definitely get a sense of feeling "home from home". The layout, design, comfortability, friendliness everything was first class. The virtual key for self checkin was very practical and allowed us to checkin at our convenience. Francesco's auntie greeted us every morning with a warm smile, and couldn't do enough to make our stay pleasurable. She even gave us really good recommendations for places to visit. There was a great spread for breakfast, including fresh fruit and yogurt. We also had a large fresh croissant and coffee every morning, and if we couldn't finish it we were offered a takeaway. The rooms are soundproof so we had a great night sleep. There is ample parking and the location is perfect, near to all the amenities and attractions. It's very safe to walk around, all the locals are very friendly. If I go to Tropea again I would definitely stay here again and recommend to family and friends. Francesco's has a great eye for design and making use of space.

Don't be fooled by the dated exterior. This apartment is beautiful inside once you upload the virtual key code, which is a simple process. The apartment is very modern and clean, exceptional actually. Don't hesitate to stay here. The area is safe. People are kind and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful, great coffee. Only 5 minutes walk into Tropea or to the train station. I would definitely return.
