The location is great, close to the old town and everything you might want to visit. I booked a riverview room which I highly recommend. I loved having a morning coffee in the little bay window overlooking a fantastic view of the river.

Room was a nice size and temperature. It seems that most of the rooms are within the building so there are no external windows, rooms face the interior "gardens". A room on the upper floors may offer more privacy. That said the bathroom was a good size, the bed was large, soft but comfortable. There are lots of lovely seating areas around the ground floor with lots of plants and trees. The breakfast was fantastic and one of the best we've had in a long time, it was definitely a stand out. The location is quite central with easy access to the centre of town and the train station. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend.
