If you expect to arrive outside check-in hours, please inform Tromsø Camping in advance.Please note that pets are only allowed by arrangement at the Traditional and Superior cabins. There will be a fee of 300 NOK per stay.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.

My husband and I opened for a private cabin which was great. It’s about 10 - 15 mins from the city. We opted for the cabin so it’s away from the town lights and pollution and to give us the opportunity to see more of the northern lights. We were at this accommodation for 6 nights and saw the northern lights every night except for 1 night due to the weather. I recommend this place if you want to see more of the northern lights.

The location is exotic. Totally away from city. There is laundry room facility at a very affordable rate. Breakfast was very good. Enjoyed our stay there. The explorer cabin is good for a family of 4 with young kids.

Location, welcome and cosy accommodation superb. Appreciated extra pillows and very clean bathroom. We initially struggled locating a socket in kitchen area for kettle. simply because we are not familiar with covered safety sockets. We found it eventually! Sorry for being a bit slow to realise. However perhaps a label on the cover under the cupboard may help prompt travellers who don’t experience covered main sockets. Wet area sockets in the uk are often shaver sockets only not main sockets. We learned and is all part of the travel experience. We loved Norway and will be back!
