Olivia “Lovely little apartment located just a stones throw away from Tromso cable car”

Lovely little room located just a stones throw away from the Tromso cable car. The apartment is on the small side, but it was absolutely fine for the one night we stayed there. I think we’d have struggled with any more than one night, as we had quite large bags/a lot of stuff but the room had everything you’d need - plates, cutlery, cups, kettle etc. Although you’re a bit of a walk away from Tromso centre, there is literally a bus stop 10 steps away from the apartment and the buses are really reasonably priced to get you to and from the centre. On this side of Tromso, you were able to easily walk to the cable car, local shopping centre and famous cathedral but the buses are incredibly frequent if you wanted to get public transport around instead of walking. I had great correspondence with the host, who sent across the code/details when they said they would and they were also on-hand to answer any questions I had. The only one big downside is that there is no door or curtain (or anything) on the shower, meaning that the water would spray absolutely everywhere when we’d go for a shower. We tried our best to angle the shower head down/squeeze up in the corner so that the water wouldn’t spray but had no luck. It caused us a bit of stress as the toilet area would end up covered in water, along with the floor, and we were only provided with one bath towel each and a hand towel for the sink, so had to use the small hand towel each time to try and mop it up (and of course the towel wouldn’t dry in time… you catch my drift). There were tea towels in the kitchen however we felt bad using these/in case we needed them to dry up the plates etc. - which we did need to use in the end so we’re glad we didn’t use them on the floor as we’d have no way of drying the dishes up. Other than that, it was a great little stay for a great price.

Fantastic location - just a short walk from the Arctic Cathedral and Fjellheisen, with a bus stop right outside and supermarkets nearby. Perfect for exploring the city!

The apartment had all the necessary equipment and was in lovely neighborhood very close to the centre of Tromsø. The host was very instructive and gave all the necessary information for a smooth check-in. The only thing i would like to tell as a negative is the mattress of the bed that wasn't so good, resulting in a messy sleep.

The location is very practical, close to the Arctic Cathedral and the Fjellheisen cable car. There are frequent buses to the city center The owner is friendly, helpful and answers the messages quickly.
