Everything! The room was big and clean, everything we needed. The owner Prashanth is a friend not just a host, what an incredible guy - the work he puts in saving the stray cats and dogs is so selfless. I would definitely stay here again and I would recommend to everyone else too.

Loved our stay so much. The pets are super cute (baby cats 🥺) and the place is very clean! In a walking distance to the beach and lots of restaurants and cafes.

Staying at Prashan’s place was an absolute pleasure. - The rooms are very clean and comfortable with cotton bed sheets, ample storage, mosquito net, WiFi, a/c and fan. - Free clean, tasty, filtered drinking water. This massively reduces plastic generation - we think this is amazing! Don’t forget to bring your refillable bottle! - Location is excellent - 10 min ride by tuktuk from Trincomalee bus station. You are a 5min walk from Uppuveli Beach which is a nice, clean and sandy beach good for swimming. There are even police lifeguards watching people swimming to keep you safe. - Lots of very decent food options available at nearby restaurants - many to choose from less than a 5min walk from the guesthouse. Prashan can give recommendations. We had the BEST hoppers we’ve ever had just around the corner! - Best of all, the cats and dogs. It was so lovely to spend our evenings surrounded by these precious little creatures. They’re all unique and funny characters. Prashan does an outstanding job looking after his own rescues as well as many of the stray dogs in his neighbourhood - it is a difficult and time consuming job. He feeds them daily, pays for vet visits, sterilisation and medicines. Your money goes directly to this excellent cause. As far as we are concerned every tourist in Trincomalee and Uppuveli should be staying here!

Great position next to Uppuveli beach and a lot of restaurants and cafes, very clean and comfortable, with AC, fan, hot shower and all the stuff we needed. But the best part are the lovely cats and dogs and the host, Prashanth, who is the most beautiful person we met during our trip in Sri Lanka. We miss you, Bread, Arya, Maggie, Simona and all the others so much! Thank you for our lovely staying, see you next time :)
