Nestled in the Cambrian Mountains in the heart of Tregaron, Y Talbot is a welcoming and award-winning hotel, restaurant and pub full of Welsh charm, roaring fires and some of the best food in the region. Head Chef Dafydd Watkin has cooked with Marco Pierre White and now cooks the food he wants to eat – comforting, confident, and dangerously moreish. His cheesecake? Local legend.
We’re proud to be fully accessible, with step-free entrances, a ground-floor accessible bedroom, and thoughtful touches throughout. Families are welcome, dogs are fussed over, and muddy boots are part of the dress code.

These rooms have been designed without ramps or steps, and boast a large walk-in seated shower, and a low level basin and toilet. The bedrooms have a patio out to the terrace and garden, and offer an iPod docking station, and tea and coffee facilities with complimentary bottles of Tŷ Nant water.

This suite offers views over the town square, a sitting area with a sofa and a bathroom with a bath and walk-in shower and cafetiere, tea making facilities and Ty Nant spring water.

These larger rooms are accessed by steps from the courtyard, and feature a balcony with views over the garden or town square. Parking place just front of the hotel. The bed quality was really good and the shower pressure was best I have ever had. Nice pub downstairs and really friendly service.
