“Lovely cosy old cottage, in beautiful location”
11 Aug 2025
The quiet and beautiful location, comfortable furniture, complete kitchen. A very cosy and lovely old cottage. Excellent showerpressure.

“A great area to explore”
10 Aug 2025
The cottage has been nicely decorated and had everything we needed. Oriel has provided some information and books about the local area. We enjoyed the walk from the cottage to the Naughty Stone - around an hour to an hour and a half, through scenic countryside. Pen y Fan and the four waterfall walk is within half an hour’s drive of the cottage. Sheep freely roam around the cottage and regularly pass the front door which entertained us. There are ponies in the field behind the cottage as well. The little pub just up the road has just opened - The Quarryman’s Arms - but it doesn’t open on Mondays or Tuesdays so we didn’t try it out. It looks nice though.

“A COMFORTABLE, CHARACTERFUL, AND WELL-LOCATED COTTAGE”
21 Jul 2025
A well-located, self-catering cottage that met our needs, including visiting old haunts in South Wales and attending a family event in the Gower. The accommodation is simple, compact, but well-furnished, comfortable, and practical - exactly as described in text and photos. And the host was excellent, both in terms of communication, and her interests in Chartism, local industrial history, and the area generally, which give the property a unique character. For this, we award her a 'gold' star! We'll definitely book it again, if/when we are in the area.

Quiet and relaxing stay, a few days break from work, home life in the peace of the countryside.
