Every single thing about Barrow Lodge was exceptional. Our rooms, the breakfast, our hostess, the location...all fabulous. We were absolutely delighted with Clodaugh...she was so friendly and helpful...we felt right at home. We drove about 1/4 of a mile to the Tralee Golf Links (designed by Arnold Palmer) for dinner and loved it! I can't say enough good things about this accommodation.

The reception offered by the hostess was itself worth the cost of staying in her property. Situated on the bank of a river estuary, it was stunning and the stuns just kept coming. The room, the atmosphere in the place, the delicious breakfast and the superb advice in terms of local restaurants were enormously helpful. Hosts who have transformed a wreck of a building into a place of beauty are right to feel proud of their achievements and to speak of their hotel with abundant enthusiasm. This is a loved place and its shows.
