We had a wonderful holiday staying in the Wheelhouse in Trachila. The spacious and well appointed apartment has an incredible view of the entire village and out to sea and you could happily relax on the wonderful spacious terrace all day and evening and enjoy the majestic landscape stretching out in front of you. The sea is crystal clear and it was such treat to walk the few steps down from the apartment into the water when we needed to cool down. There are no shops, the nearest is 8 miles away, which has everything one needs, but the lone taverna in the village was charming and a wonderful spot to watch the sun go down, and we ate there most evenings. The beds in the apartment are comfortable, the rooms are clean and well furnished, with lots of space to relax inside. Kostas was an amazing host, who generously provided plenty of basic supplies for our arrival, so there is no need to prepare too much in advance. Anything we needed during our stay was gladly arranged by Kostas, who was easy to contact and happy to help. If you are looking to have a holiday with total relaxation away from the crowds, it might be one of the most perfect places in Greece to stay and we came back with fond memories. We will definitely return.

Trachilla is a perfect town - very peaceful with a wonderful taverna and fantastic swimming and snorkeling on the doorstep . The wheelhouse is spacious and well fitted out with a relaxing deck overlooking the water. Kostas was a wonderful host - we spent a week at the wheelhouse and would have loved more time.

Everything! Absolutely everything! I do not want to write comments about it , because I want to keep this place for myself only🙈 This was like my dream vacation ever! Away from the crowds, a tranquil village, crystal clear waters, beautiful views, just the sound of the sea…what else can you expect? On top of that , our host Kostas was an unbelievably kind man who did everything possible to make us feel comfortable. He had packed the fridge with so much food before our arrival and he treated us as if we were part of his family 💕 I will never forget his hospitality and this beautiful place. I am definitely hoping to come back to Trachila but maybe during a bit cooler season, because the excess heat was the only drawback.
