The staff were absolutely amazing with showing me around and what was included on-site for guests. The ryokan's onsen was also glorious and I really enjoyed the cold bath! The kaiseki meal was huge! I had the all-crab meal and it was delicious! Very traditional and tasty. I loved that the staff set out and put away your futon while you had your meals. I like a stiffer bed so sleeping on a futon on the floor was great for my back. What surprised me was the firm pillow. I didn't think I would like it but it was surprisingly comfortable! The shuttle bus to the different onsens in town was great! But even then, the ryokan is a short walk to town.

The staff werel very friendly and warm. They made us feel very welcome and took meticulous care to explain everything to us, ensuring that we have the most excellent stay. The best part are the kaiseki dinner and the breakfast. If you were to stay here, make sure you reserve dinner and breakfast, an experience not to be missed. .

Everything (with one exception). Great staff. Super welcome. Fantastic breakfast in an individual room. Close to the main onsen area (10 min walk). Nice room.

The stay was wonderful and exceeded our expectation. We like the shuttle bus service which takes us to the town centre after 4pm. Or else, it is only 12-15 min walk. The staff are accommodating and very friendly. The breakfast and dinner are top notch. We indeed enjoyed the onsen in the hotel even more than the public baths. Enjoy every moment of our stay here.
