Unrenovated rooms are pretty average. Had the flouro tube cover smack me on the head through the night. No power points near the bed. All spoken about at reception when booking for another night and feedback taken well on board by friendly staff. I decided to stay another night and was squeezed into a renovated room at a premium. Room was fantastic at the front of the motel but noisy with foot traffic but quieter than main street in Townsville. The reception staff member was the best ever (sorry i can't remember your name). Very accommodating and friendly.
