I stayed here last night and overall had a pleasant experience. The room itself was very nice, with great views and an excellent location. It was generally clean; however, I did notice mould in the shower and a small blood stain on the curtains, which took away from the otherwise positive impression. With a little more attention to detail in housekeeping, this would be an excellent place to stay.

While the hotel is slightly out of the way, the benefit was that it was relatively quiet. The reception staff were welcoming and in general the rooms/floors were quiet. The rooms are generally clean and tidy (a little wear and tear) and the rooms are large. A massive benefit of the rooms is the kitchenette and laundry which allows you the option of eating in and washing clothes, especially during a longer stay or trip. The aircon is very effective. I stay here for work as it is by far the best value for money and quality I’ve come across so far in Townsville. I’ve stayed here several times and always feel safe here. Will be staying here again.
