Super little appartment at the top end of of Tossa, very clean and well equiped there is every thing you need and any questions are answered immediatly by whats app. There are always parking spaces available in the street or the car park a few metres away.

The apartment is exactly as described and shown on Booking.com & easily accessed by a texted code & lock-box. It was more than spacious enough for my wife & I. I'd expect it would be ok for young children too. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked of utensils. The air-con unit was good, although we were there in late September, so can't speak for the hotter months. The location was ok for us as we had a hire car. I'd say it would be a 20-25 minute walk to the old town depending on your fitness levels. Other than 1 night of our weeks' stay, we managed to park on the same road as the apartment just before the pedestrian crossing at the top of the street (the other night, we parked just around the corner). The town of Tossa is lovely, especially the old town which is beautiful, with plenty of shops, bars & restaurants (if visiting the stunning castle, either choose a cooler day, or take the quaint little 'road-train', as it's a steep old climb :-) When venturing out of Tossa for days out, we preferred heading north as opposed to the bustling southern towns of Loret de Mar & Blanes. Within 30-40 minutes north are the beautiful seaside towns of Calella de Palafrugell & Fornells. Just inland is the lovely village of Begur, with it's medieval castle perched high above the charming village. All in all, I'd highly recommend a stay at Apartments L'Amfora when staying in Tossa de Mar.
