Please note that there are no banks or ATMs in or around the hotel.Beforehand you should know that Tortuguero is a town of only 1 kilometer of extension. It is very far away from the city as you may know it. It is a town where many species of animals live; among them: mammals, birds and other species in protection of the Tortuguero National Park. Occasionally the light can go out and the water as well. The hotel has no control over these events but we try to do everything possible so that this is not an impediment to the enjoyment of your stay.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.

Really pleased with our stay. The room was quite small but we weren't in it anyway. The aircon was very good and definitely needed. Staff were friendly and helpful. The grounds of the hotel were beautiful and you could walk straight out onto the beach. Breakfast was good. Room was clean and comfy. Booked some tours with a company the hotel recommended and they were brilliant.

On the beach front in the centre of Tortuguero. The hotel had a nice reception area, with sofas and facilities to make hot drinks throughout the day. We weren't offered a buffet breakfast (as mentioned in other reviews) but the options offered were good. Nice pool area surrounded by a tropical garden. We saw crocodiles and herring on the boat ride to Tortuguero.

Lovely beachfront property and easy access to the main shops and restaurants. Rooms were very clean with air conditioning. Staff very polite and helpful. Good WiFi throughout.
