Hugo was always very responsive to all inquiries. We really enjoyed our tours with Abel and Bernal that we booked via the hotel. We had one person not joining last-minute and in they end we didn't have to pay for them, which was very nice and unexpected. Rooms were spacious and nice air conditioning

Very clean and comfortable. Owners were very friendly and arranged the boats to and from tortuguero. Also took a lovely, well priced canoe trip. The breakfast was excellent. Location was close to beach and backed onto forest. In two hours sitting on the balcony I saw spider monkeys, macaws, 5 iguanas and montezuma opopendulas nesting. Also very good air conditioning!

The apartment was spotlessly clean, well equipped and comfortable. There is a nice seating area on the balcony. The host is very helpful. He also offers various tours, however, we had already made arrangements of our own
