Tortuguero and therewith the property are only accesible by boat or plane. The last boat connection is at 16:00 from La Pavona, which is about 3-4 hours drive from San José if there no major incidents on the road.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. The contact with the hostel was great. They helped already before we arrived with tips how to come to them. They helped with al our tours. The tours were great! They had good guides!!! The location was perfect, close to the Main Street and activities. The accommodation was also great.

Rooms were really nice, great kitchen facilities and the breakfast is top notch. Recommend to book your tours here as they have their own guides that are very knowledgeable and respectful to the environment.

Great location just a short walk from the main pier. The staff here are so lovely and welcoming and happy to help with anything! We got welcome drinks on arrival which was a nice touch! Nice chill out areas and kitchen for guests to use. Nice clean hostel. Would definitely recommend
