Host was very helpful in guiding us about where to walk to access the route to Ben Alligan directly. Loved the setting, the waterfalls at the back of the Estate were stunning. Helpful phone advice before the visit re: stocking-up on self-catering supplies in Inverness. Good cooking equipment in the kitchen

Quirky accommodation in an amazing location . It was a pleasure to stay in such an amazing house , oozing with history and stories. We stayed in the school room which had window shutters that enabled us to have a good nights sleep and comfortable beds and bedding . The hosts are amazing characters and the staff too . The breakfast was a delicious omelette. We got to view the falls in the grounds .

Location magical. House quirky interesting with lots of old world charm. Room spacious and great for our two day stay. Slept really well in comfortable beds. Appreciated the fresh water cooler. View of the river rushing past.Sarah was friendly and welcoming. Please don't book if you expect wall to wall carpets and premiere inn style. This is a family home with children so well lived in. We liked the polished floorboards and window shutters but some people may not.

The location is beautiful and the property itself is charming. The rooms are stylish and comfortable, creating a lovely atmosphere. However, the staff lacked professionalism and the breakfast was below expectations. Considering the high price, the overall value just isn’t there.
