We were self catering. We were welcomed with local sweets and a bottle of Zibbibbo which is a local drink. We also found some pasta, sauce and water to start us off. The Villa is 5 min walk to a great place Bar Alfredo where we had a delicious local breakfast (granita) every morning. Various supermarkets, bakery and other shop reachable within 2 min drive or when it's not too hot on foot. The sea was at our doorstep, 1 min away. A few times we had a dip at night time an early in the morning. The town has a train station that came handy for my children in their early twenties who took the train to Messina a few times. The villa is very 18 min drive to Milazzo where we took the bought to the Eolie island.
