The family that owns and runs the hotel is lovely and contributed to our positive experience. The location of the hotel is across the road from Lake Ampollino so there is easy access to a wonderful walking path along the shoreline. Incredibly beautiful setting! We were there for only one night toward the end of our travels in Calabria and it was a perfect stop.

Very nice Hotel in the middle of the Sila Park. The owner was super helpful and provided us with a lot of information about the area. They have a bar and restaurant on site and that was really convenient due to out of season closures of a lot of restaurants in the area. This is a family run hotel and diches in the restaurant are delicious. The owner was amazingly accommodating and even served me a soup which was not on the menu. Reasonable prices of the food and drinks. There is plenty of space for parking your car. There was a balcony and a well equipped bathroom. Good location for visiting the Sila Park.

We were stunned by the beauty of the location by a lake and surrounded by dense pine woods. Simone was a Perfect host whose love for his region showed in his knowledge of the area and in his daily suggestions of where to go. We ate a lovely and well priced dinner in the hotel every evening. The room was spotless and comfortable. We cannot wait to go to this lovely area of Calabria again to unwind.
