The owner and his daughters were very friendly, helpful, and great fun to talk to. There was a small fridge with fresh milk and a large range of drinks to choose from, not just the standard tea and coffee. There was also a fan in the room that was greatly appreciated in this summer heat. I was given information about busses I can take and where to catch them and get off. the welcome book contained a list of places to visit in good and bad weather. I found it very helpful to plan what I wanted to do. Newton house is cosy and quiet and a lovely place to stay.
