Jane “Lovely little apartment in the nicest area of Torquay”

We absolutely loved this bijou little apartment, located in a large former Victorian mansion now converted into flats. Although the entrance to the mansion block is a bit down-at-heel, the apartment itself was immaculate, well furnished and equipped, quiet, and extremely clean. We felt very safe and secure there. The wifi was excellent and there is internet television available (including Netflix). There is private parking outside the flats, and a nice view as the windows of the apartment look out onto trees - lots of birdsong to be heard! The area is fantastic, with a local shopping street including a Co-Op, convenience store, pub and Italian restaurant and several breakfast cafes (all of a very high standard). Kents Cavern is 5 minutes further down the road from the shops. Babbacombe is about 25 minutes walk uphill from the apartment, whilst central Torquay is about 30 minutes walk downhill. Alternatively there are a couple of buses which will get you to both destinations (and Paignton). We would definitely stay there again!

apartment was very clean and had all that we needed.bed very comfortable.location quiet plenty of parking. will stay again if avaliable when we go to torquey in future.no bad things about our stay.
