This location was booked as a mini moon stay close to Paignton and for a simple yet relaxed getaway. The Apple hut was exactly that. The kitchen has all the necessary amenities and it was lovely to have a kettle to stick on the induction stove to boil. The bed was extremely comfortable and there was a cavity below to store bags/cases The wood stove in the corner helped a lot to keep warm as it got chilly in the evening and one or two logs did the job without any issues. The bathroom although small was good and the shower has good water pressure. Outside of the cabin there was a picnic bench, fire pit and BBQ however due to the inclement weather we were not able to use these but they appeared to be in really good condition. The hot tub though was a huge highlight. Extremely relaxing and warm. This is run to be available 24hrs a day during your stay and it was fantastic to climb into after a fun yet busy day. The hosts for this site were great and quick to respond and when we arrived the cabin was ready to go with the hot tub running. On this occasion I had messaged ahead to request a bottle of champagne could be source for the fridge for our arrival and this was produced at Cost price. Wonderful location close to Paignton and just far enough out to be in the countryside

Great place for a weekend. Lovely view. There’s a BBQ, microwave, hob and a mini oven. You’ve got everything you need to cook. I loved the hot tub.

Amazing location as you're close to alot of tourist locations and shops but far enough away to switch off and have peace and tranquility listening to the birds and watching the sheep whilst reading a book and enjoying a drink of your choice. The hut itself is well laid out and maximizes the internal dimensions of said hut with a super comfy bed, great kitchen facilities and well laid out bathroom with a reasonably sized shower with great pressure and hot as you like water. The hot tub was an added bonus to relax after a long day of walking. We met one of the hosts on arrival and was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome and came across very approachable if we was to have any queries or questions during our stay (which we didn't). Whether you're looking for an isolated location away from typical coastal hotels/b&bs with great access to beaches/costal towns or somewhere to relax and switch off after long walks along the south west coastal paths or Dartmoor national park then this place is a must. My only regret is not asking one of the hosts if there was availability for 3rd night before leaving. Me, my wife & dog will definitely be returning.
