The property was just outside the main city centre so it wasn’t cursed with a dearth of traffic or external noise. It was about a 15 minute walk from TMU subway station (and quite close to a tram stop but I didn’t use the tram to go to/from the hotel). I liked the bold exterior, it made the building very easy to identify. The room was small but comfortable, the bed was exactly right with a good duvet and flexible pillows to help in a good nights sleep. The bathroom had been recently done up, it was nice and clean and there was plenty of room in the shower to move about and watch it oneself. I didn’t make use of the tea or coffee in the kitchen but that was a nice addition and there’s also water coolers in the main reception area as well as the option to purchase soft drinks.

It was a nicely decorated hotel. The price was right and the location was nice. We enjoyed being walking distance away from Alan Gardens Greenhouse. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. There is also coffee to enjoy in the morning. My daughter liked windows and the paintings of raccoons in the stairwell.
