The Salutation Inn is a beautiful boutique hotel in a central location in Topsham. The rooms, the food and facilities are brilliantly presented and the staff are wonderful. Polite and human and so helpful without any obsequiousness they just make you feel welcome and at home from the start.

The location was perfect for us as we had an event in the village. We had an enquiry about the parking which answered promptly. The building fits in the surroundings beautifully and the decor is very welcoming and stylish. Our room was spacious with a very comfortable large bed. The bathroom very clean and contemporary with a lovely powerful shower. We decided to have the cooked breakfast which is ordered the day before but there is a lovely kitchen area near the bedrooms which you can help yourself to cereals, bread and tea and coffee. The breakfast was served in the conservatory which was beautiful. All ingredients beautifully presented and cooked and served by a waiter who was professional and took the trouble to have a little chat.
