Great that they accepted a very late thru booking.Com with only 2 rooms Left for a 2 single bed share bathroom with no cover from room to loo🙀and upgraded us to a recently available 2single bed with ensuite - but the woman manager offered it at $20 extra whereas the bloke when I went to the counter to pay demanded $30. So that was $108.00 - for a really basic service. it was small I could hear the bloke next door snoring - no bedside lights basic soap shampoo - no face cloth or hand towel 1 bath towel each - no extra pillow or blankets - we’ve paid less and got more - not a problem really except the way I felt he was cashing up on 2 nsw travellers. Didn’t endear me to him. They were very reluctant to provide a wifi number so I couldn’t checkin. No draft beers very limited wines with no wine lists either. Food looked very good but the pizza menu was basic and very blokey- but I heard from locals after we’d left that they have a great steak. But it did have a really nice vibe lots of kids running around lots of people chatting happy laughing - just didn’t want to talk to non locals - next morning in the daylight I could see lots of messy outdoor areas - things not cleared away areas with no or ltd signage about access things not properly fenced - not neat not tidy grounds - my guess is young couple new baby having a go- experience may help them. I’d go back for the steak but I doubt I’d stay over.
