My daughter and I arrived way after the time I first guessed, late from Lisbon Customs, driving in the rain, dropping out a friend in Fátima etc. The owner had long gone to another city, we were in the dark and in the rain. I managed to call her using my daughter's phone. The owner was very patient giving instructions to the nearby parking lot manager, retrieving the key and arranging everything. The location was perfect, the accomodations were cozy, felt like my grandma's home, although I didn't see the owner. The proximity with the parking lot guys, despite not related, added an extra sense of security regarding our stuff at home although in Tomar it was far from necessary. At the end the event I was attending lasted longer than expected and she accommodated one more day without any issues. The place was top and Tomar was magic.

We were warmly welcomed by Ana. The house has everything you need, and the kitchen is well equipped. It’s close to the train station and very near the monastery. It was quiet and cozy.

The host was incredibly kind and responded very quickly. She truly cares for and supports each guest personally. The accommodation was spotless and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, including air conditioning to keep cool during the hot Portuguese summer. From the back street of the house, you can walk up the hill to the famous Convento de Cristo, one of Tomar’s main attractions, and also enjoy a pleasant stroll around the beautiful Seven Hills. Restaurants, shops, and other convenient facilities are all nearby. I honestly wish this place were my home—I can’t wait to visit again!

Ana was extremely accommodating and a wonderful host. The location is superb and the secure parking right next door was great. The shower pressure was amazing.
