The King John is in a beautiful part of Wiltshire close to many famous sights which are easy to access. It is a lovely comfortable inn with friendly charming staff. A good wine list and a varied interesting menu with daily specials. The room was well equipped and comfortable.

It was conveniently close to Compton Abbas Airfield where we had spent the day. It was in a quiet location, the only Pub for miles!
