The proximity to Mejiro station and Ikebukoro station & bus facilities to both these stations. Also the convenience stores around.

A stylish and very clean apartment that is conveniently located. Being on the JR Yamanote line, it's very easy to get around. I had read other reviews saying the place is small, but I was still surprised how small it was, as it looked larger in the photos. It's just fine for one slim person like myself, but I can't imagine a couple or a big person in there. The directions provided by the host is easy to follow, but it's not the closest route. I think they've opted for clarity over proximity. If you have GPS on your phone, you can find shorter routes (access from Ikebukuro Easy (South) exit, or from Merjiro station). Washing machine is great. Air con and TV work well.
