For more information, please contact the property directly.Directions to the hostel:From Keisei-Ueno Train Station, take the Main exit. Turn right and walk along Chuo Street bound for Akihabara (not for JR Ueno station) for about 400 metres. At the end of the side-walk, you will find a cafe named "Veloce" on the other side of the street as a landmark. Turn right and go straight for about 100 metres. The property is located opposite Ueno First City Hotel.From the South Exit of JR Okachimachi Train Station, turn left and walk along the railway bound for Akihabara (not for JR Ueno Station) for about 50 metres. Turn right at the Golf Shop and walk about 100 metres. Cross the street at the intersection of Chuo Street in the same direction. Walk about another 100 metres.From Yushima Subway Station (Chiyoda Subway Line), go out from Exit 6 and follow the path to your right. Turn right at the first intersection.

Well-located hostel in a neighborhood known for its safety and order. Common areas are a bit small, but it has a washer and dryer — a great convenience if you’ve been traveling for several weeks. This is a hostel geared toward Western travelers, with the basics you need to enjoy the city. The metro is about a 10-minute walk away, and there are restaurants nearby with good food at fair prices. The room lacked amenities and was very, very basic — no refrigerator or TV, just the bare minimum. If you’re staying only a short time, this is not a major issue; however, for stays longer than three days, I would recommend looking for larger rooms elsewhere.

The location was very convenient for train stations and many key attractions around Ueno Park. There were also plenty of nearby food and convenience stores. However, it was not noisy and we were never disturbed by noise.
