This is the 2nd time I've stayed here. The experience will depend on the type of room you book. The room I booked was a private double room. There was a shared sink on the same level as the double room. There was also the male toilet on the same level which was convenient. However, the showers were downstairs on the first level. There is live music at this place which shares the restaurant with the Guesthouse which is a bonus. But this is a separate business, the live music sessions were not free during my stay. Although I checked in late at night and no one was at reception, there were very clear instructions that made it easy to get to my keys and find my room (without an escape room hunt). Free umbrellas can be borrowed from reception on a rainy day.

The common areas are comfortable. It's close to the station and a nice walk from there. The room was basic and comfortable. Staff were friendly.

The area is fantastic, I definitely want to spend more time here., The place has a musician Vibe, the surrounding environment is great for inspiring creativity. The mini concert there by Yu Ishigaki was heaps of fun and a highlight of my time in Tokyo, I loved the sound of the sanshin.
