Amazing place! The staff was so kind. Everyone spoke fluent English (which would not have been a problem if they didn't, but it's probably useful to know for anyone who does not fare well with Japanese). Check-in was easy and smooth. We were immediately offered additional services as per their email (breakfast and traditional bath) and jumped at the chance for both. They also offered a calligraphy class but unfortunately we had more travel planned for the next day, which is a shame because I would have loved to try it! The bath was very relaxing and much needed after a long day of travel 😂 since we did not manage to try onsen, we felt this was still close enough to be able to say we did. Breakfast was delicious. There were plenty of options, but we went with a traditional Japanese one. We loved it so much, I made it the day right after coming back home. The room was also beautiful. No notes overall. Great stay, would recommend. (P.S.: Special shoutout to Dy and the super kind gal whose name I did not catch who complimented me about my hair! Same to you, girl. Same to you. 😍)

The staff were exceptional- friendly, professional and always available when you needed them. The Japanese breakfast was fresh, delicious and filling. The location is great within walking distance to Senso-ji, Ueno Park and Yanaka. It’s also in a quiet part of Tokyo.

The hotel is very quiet. The staff are extremely friendly and the breakfast was excellent. The rooms are spartanly furnished (futons and zaisus), but that is in keeping with tradition.

Breakfast was great, changed everyday we were there. Great value. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Room felt very Japanese.
