Efficiently managed hotel and a super welcoming Front Desk team, always smiling. Also a great selection of toiletries, facial masks and welcome drinks to help yourself with. The onsen was another plus after a day's outing.

The location to the hotel is near to Tokyo station. If you are arriving from Narita or Haneda with very heavy baggage then be sure to take the elevators at the Yaesu central exit and walk 5 mins to hotel. If you have light baggage take Yaesu exit 26 and turn right, about 1 minute walk. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

The best thing about this Super Hotel Tokyo Station (Yaesu gate) is the excellent location (about 5 minutes walk from the station but you’d need to cross one or two main roads—but there are traffic lights and zebra crossings, plus the Tokyo drivers seemed to be very disciplined, waiting patiently for pedestrians to cross the street; and the hotel is about 2-3 minutes walk to the much smaller Kyobashi Station). Everything else seemed to be adequate, standard-sized but clean—the room (rather small but cozy with enough amenities), breakfast (just okay, so it might be better to find something outside, eg. at convenient stores, even at Tokyo Station), and onsen (one not too fancy hot pool with enough space for the individual bathing stations and changing room (but the lockers had no key attached to feel safe). Finally, the checking out process was so speedy, as a staff told me, ‘When you want to check out, you can just go.’ I was a little confused at what might have happened if a customer had unintentionally taken a hotel item, eg. a hair dryer, a liquid soap. But it was the fastest I’ve seen!
