The fine print
The front desk is open from 07:00-22:00.Please make sure to inform the hotel in advance if you plan to arrive after 22:00.Please note that towels are changed daily, and the cleaning service is offered every two days. The first cleaning will take place on the third night. Additional services can be requested for a fee.An accommodation tax per person per night is not included in the price and needs to be paid at the property.

The staffs are very friendly and helpful, Air Canada delayed my luggage and when I informed hotel's staffs that my luggage will arrive late at night, once luggage arrives at front desk, they immediately contacted me to pick up my luggage. They are fast in response before I arrive, and proactively asked about my delay luggage issue. Hotel location is close to JR Ikebukuro station, and convenience store is just 1 min walks. The room is always clean and A/C was always on which is a plus given the weather was 37 to 38 degrees outside. I really enjoyed the stay and I will try other MIMARU hotel in the future when I visit Tokyo again.

Staff is absolutely amazing, really friendly and full of good advice, room was great! The kids loved the manga area. Will definitely stay there again!

Good facilities provided (booked gaming room). Plenty of space to sort our luggage after every shopping trip (we opened 3 big luggage simultaneously). AC, microwave, kitchen stove, fridge were sufficient for our needs as we wanted to cook. Kitchen utensils also provided in the room. Pajamas, toothbrush and other goods can be requested at the main desk. Nearest station is about an 8 minute walk with multiple stores to along the way. Plenty of restaurants nearby and convenience stores to stock up on snacks. There is a supermarket nearby (3 minute walk) for discounted food. Clear and exceptional communication from the staff; they provided us taxi options as we had 10+ luggage to haul back to the airport. Definitely will book again with a group when we return to Tokyo!
