The location was amazing, just a few minutes' walk from Akasaka Mitsuke station -- a walk we easily managed even in the rain with 2 trolley bags. There were several little food places dotting the entire street on which the hotel is located, as well as a 7/11 right opposite (and various other convenience stores just a few metres away). I'd stay here again just for the location. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the room was very nice. It was small, as expected for Tokyo, but the furniture was cleverly arranged so that it didn't feel too tiny. We got a room with a nice view of the front streets. There was free coffee in the lobby, and a water and ice dispenser near the elevator, which we really made use of. Strangely, though, they didn't give us any water bottles. It was fine for us since we had brought our own bottles and could keep filling them up, but I wonder how they expect other guests to get water from the dispenser. There was a jar in the room, but it wasn't very big. The fluffy white pyjamas they give us to wear at night were cute and comfortable, and perfect for the slightly cold weather!

Akasaka is a great area to stay and the hotel is close to metro station. Staff was friendly and room cleaning efficient everyday.
