Exceptional Location: The hotel is perfectly situated in a quiet neighbourhood, yet it's only a 6-10 minute walk from the East Exit of the main JR Ikebukuro Station. It is even closer to the Higashi-Ikebukuro Metro Station (about a 2-minute walk), making city-wide travel incredibly easy. Modern & Thoughtful Design: The rooms, while compact (typical for Tokyo at around 14sqm), are efficiently designed and impeccably clean. Excellent Service: The staff is consistently praised for being friendly, professional, and efficient, especially the kind and helpful lady in the lobby. Her name is THUZAR San. If you are looking for a stylish, quiet, and affordable base in one of Tokyo's most vibrant districts, Hotel Resol Ikebukuro is an outstanding choice. It offers great value for money and a truly 'homey' atmosphere.

Good location, not too far away from Ikebukuro station. Clean room. Very small room but this is to be expected in Tokyo.

As a solo traveller I booked the small double room for single occupancy on the ladies only floor and absolutely loved it - very comfortable room, quiet and super clean. I especially loved that the heating wasn't centrally controlled like in many Japanese hotels, which can feel like being in a sauna, and I was able to sleep comfortably without overheating :)
