Aart “Decent hotel with nice views, close to Ueno station”

The room was slightly bigger than the apparent Tokyo standard of 11 m2, so there was a little room for the luggage. The view from the hotel rooms is nice. The hotel is close to the large Ueno station, with many facilities and shops. Also close to lively restaurant streets. 7-11 shop downstairs is handy.

Great location and very easy hotel to stay in. Rooms felt a bit tired but had everything we needed.

Great location, just next to Ameyoko street markets and restaurants. Walking distance to Ueno station, which is very convenient for transiting to Narita and other areas like Akibahara and Akasuka. The compact skytree view doubles had average space for Tokyo hotels, but the City view double was comparatively spacious with great views even of Mt Fuji on our last day! The 7 eleven just below was a godsend for our stay.
