The most satisfying part is that it is very close to the JR station and is relatively friendly to passengers with a lot of luggage.

The property was located very well to get the train to Narita airport and that was the reason it was chosen. It is also only a 15 minute walk from Ueno Park (museum, galleries and shrines).

The hotel is a little run down but the room I stayed in was the biggest I've had in Tokyo. It's been my fourth time there, the staff is great and real helpful, conveniently located 5 minutes by foot from the Yamanote Line. You're not going to meet many western tourists up here. All in all I recommend the place and will stay there again next time. If you want a super clean facility you'd have to go choose a newer one though. And as always in Japan, speaking a little Japanese will always open doors...
