Mizu-san is one of the most polite and kind hosts I have ever met when staying at budget accommodations in Japan. He speaks English fluently, has a great sense of humor, and is extremely attentive and friendly. Now I understand why Base Inn Uguisudani is so highly rated for its service quality. Since it is a budget-style accommodation, Base Inn Uguisudani provides the basic amenities and offers a common area for dining and working. Guests are asked to keep conversations quiet between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. The inn is also conveniently located near major train stations, making it easy to travel to other areas.

Very nice host and caretaker. The care taker lives in the dorm with everyone else to make sure everything is well taken care of. Very nice guy and share tips with me navigating Tokyo as a whole. Free towels for each use.
