Having stayed in ‘The Red Lion’ before l already knew that it is sited in an ideal location and l anticipated that the rooms would be clean and comfortable and that the staff would be friendly, helpful and professional - and so it proved! l also appreciated how quiet it was.

Stayed at this hotel a few times now when golfing locally. Good access off M1, staff very helpful, eaten breakfast and dinner all ok. Close to couple of other pubs also. Looked for alternatives, but keep coming back to this one.

Superb rooms very nicely decorated, comfy bed and excellent shower with toiletries. Plenty of parking and excellent choice of food and wines. Highly recommended.

Lovely welcome and great staff. The room was just like the photos, beautiful tiled bathroom and a very comfortable bed. Plenty of room in the bedroom and a quiet fan ready for the hot weather. The dining room was tastefully decorated and excellent food. The breakfast was great, lots of choice and good portions. Overall a great place to stay very close to the M1 and easy to find.
