Wow! All the reviews are true. A truly memorable experience from start to finish. Absolutely gorgeous accommodation, fantastic service (led by Roshan - a very professional manager, whilst being super friendly and helpful). The food was perfect, with a beautifully cooked Sri Lankan curry one night and a whole fish bbq under the stars the next. We also had breakfast on our second morning with fresh curd (delicious) and a lovely home made granola smoothie. We stayed in 8 different properties in Sri Lanka on this visit and this was definitely our no. 1. Attention to detail was superb!

As excellent as the reviews say, I wish we had the time to stay longer. Great facilities, it is hot hut aircon in the bedrooms was okay with us. Food was great and the customer service from the team there is exceptional. The best we’ve had in Sri Lanka, you can tell the manager and team take a lot of pride in what they do and it’s appreciated!

Fabulous stay and very kind and wonderful staff! We were very well looked after! The grounds are just beautiful and the pool is so lovely! The villa and bungalow are both huge, we had the bungalow and it was perfect for our family of 4 with 2 large beds. We stayed 2 nights and did a safari and we were lucky enough to see many elephants and other animals with our very experienced guide. Could quite happily relax on the property for more days! We loved it and hope to come back one day :) The food was also exceptional, and a real highlight for us was the prawn curry which we had more than once because we loved it so much. Also lots of food options for fussy young children too along with the local cuisine and fresh seafood. 👌

What an amazing place! The team at Wild Lotus were absolutely fantastic. So friendly and helpful. The property is set in such a lovely area. The viewing tower is really an incredible viewpoint over the lake. A member of the grounds team showed us around the site, we saw lots of different animals. He also got us fresh drinking coconuts from the trees. We fed the goats which was really lovely. The food was so delicious both nights. We did dinner under the stars and had a bbq. There was plenty of food and it was really good quality! It was such a beautiful setting. Everyone had a smile on their face, it was such a warm welcome to Wild Lotus and they were happy to help with any queries we had. We are truly grateful for what was a great experience! The style of the villas with the outdoor showers was a really nice touch. We did get some insect bites which was to be expected anyway and we did not mind - we did have insect repellent which helped. We were in the smaller villa as 4 adults and there was two large beds in the same room. The beds were extremely comfortable and we did get some really good nights sleep there! They were the comfiest beds of the trip! 😊 We would probably go for the larger villa next time to have separate rooms however it was not an issue really. A massive thank you to everyone for making our stay unforgettable!
