Superb hospitality. Our first breakfast was a sumptuous Sri Lankan combo. I would have liked to go on safari with our host but we had made prior arrangements. He’s a most enthusiastic host. His passion for the local Yala National Park & its animals is evident. The guest house has a glorious view of sunrise & paddy fields. Birdlife a plenty. 100 yo mango tree is a playground for squirrels & birds.

Damn! This property is one of the best me and my family ever stayed in. The room is super super comfortable. The bathroom is immaculate. The vibe is just on point. The outside area as the amazing view of the rice fields. You just feel you’re in heaven! The safari is the best! Like literally the best. You have to do it with them, the owner’s brother Thilak, was the best driver in the whole park. He made sure we were just in front of the leopard, and tried his very best to show us the beautiful park! At last the lunch… WOW… 4 hours of home cooking an amazing vegetarian meal, with so much variety and flavour. We were amazed. The owner really is kind, thoughtful and caring, I’ve really never met a host like him. We will come back!

We arrived very late at night and left early for a safari but really enjoyed our stay. Host was very helpful and kind - he even got up at 5am with us to give us a packed breakfast!! Very comfortable and spacious room. Would definitely recommend!

We had a great time in tissa/yala thanks to this guest house. Super friendly hosts that arranges everything for you. The brother of the host is a great guide for the National Park and you will be oversupplied with great food during your stay. A great garden to relax in and everything you need available.
