I was allocated a room in the first place , it had an issue with the AC ,my question here is is it not the responsibility of the management to check whether the suite is in good condition ? On the request they changed me to the other room ,in that TV doesn’t work ,WiFi doesn’t work ,so please be ready for any provision not in working condition .I raised a concern but no luck , in my opinion the price i paid is more than the nominal price for the provisions they provided .Rooms are clean which was my first preference so I adjusted even without other amenities .

A well located hotel in the centre of town. Staff were friendly and helpful with inquiries. The attached restaurant is great for meals.

This hotel is located in the city area along the main road, with shopping places like Pothys and Chennai Silks just 50 meters away. Mangalam, Bazaar, and Saratha's are within walking distance, around 200 meters. The food at the restaurant next to the hotel is very delicious and affordable. The staff are very helpful in providing the necessary information. The rooms at Hotel Deepam are very clean.

Pros: Location, Room size, Good Shower, Cleanliness and Staff Cons: No AC. Checked in at 3 rooms after complaining about AC and all are same. 16 degrees setup for the centralised AC is not even producing 25 degrees and my 5 days of stay was a complete NON AC experience… Had to take shower twice a day to cool down… the management has to Seriously look into it …

Excellent accommodation and value for money. Accommodation was priced very reasonably, compared to other cities in Tamil Nadu. Staff were very cooperative and helpful. No mosquitoes, more importantly.

Very near to ATMs, and small stalls. We ate some food in a beside restaurant and unfortunately vomited. I do not recommend that restaurant but the hotel was great.
