It is a big hostel that also accommodates youth groups and events. The location is great for those who want to chill at the beach, but not that perfect if you want to mainly see the nearby cities, Livorno or Pisa. Although there is a bus connection, the buses go about once in an hour. The staff were very friendly and nice. I was there in the low season, so I could stay in a shared room alone. Everything was clean and fresh and the place was great value for this price.

Plenty of space, off season all toilets and showers were free and clean. Good reception and communication pre-visit. Toaster in the breakfast room. Each bed had a large locker with provided keys and washed bedsheets in it.

The Staff went above and beyond themselves to make our stay enjoyable.My mother is disabled and their commitment towards her was very admirable.Everything was great.
