A grand old hotel being restored to former glory. Food was amazing Staff understand the importance of hospitality by greeting guests with genuine interest in them. The hotel has an atmosphere of history yet modern touches bring a unique sense of the now. Parking freely available

Fantastic stay! Large comfortable room in a grand old building. Had a great meal in the bar downstairs. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Highly recommend

Lovely newly refurbished room, bed was very comfortable and bathroom was nice. We arrived late evening so no one was at reception but there were clear instructions on how to check in and the person on the phone was very helpful.
