Very comfortable and well equipped cottage, location great for lovely views over the hills and easy walking to the centre where there is 2 great pubs, an Italian restaurant and and a good ol' chippy!!!!

The cottage was very cosy, clean, and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. The garden is pretty, and the views are amazing. The village has lots of places to eat and drink. There is also a co-op.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage! Everything we needed was there. It was spotlessly clean, cozy and perfectly located for exploring the Peak District. The instructions were clear, and we found the cottage easily. The only small issue we had was that it got quite cold in the house, especially at night, as the heating turns off relatively early. But we found ourself warming up in front of the electric fireplace in the evenings. This may have just been our personal experience. Overall we felt very much at home and would definitely love to come back to the Ava Lily Cottage!
