We booked 3 rooms , a double and 2 singles .The double was fantastic One of the singles was upgraded to a twin . Breakfast was ok although the vegetarian cooked breakfast disappointing .

Very handy location, just a short walk from the train station and a short walk into town. The hotel has an old fashioned charm to it and feels cosy and welcoming. We enjoyed the informality of the Invictus Bar where we had a meal. Food was acceptable and staff very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was very good. The room exceeded our expectations, and tea and coffee and biscuits in the room was appreciated. Complimentary body wash. shampoo and soap was a nice touch too. We had a lovely walk down to the beach and out to the ruined castle which was very interesting. Locals were friendly and many said hello as we passed by.
